Ushering in the New Year!

We are starting the New Year with an extensive exhibit at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA.  Founded in 1995 for the promotion and enjoyment of the visual and performing arts. The Narrows, a fully accessible venue, is comprised of two visual art galleries, a performance theater and visual artist studios.

The exhibit runs from January 22nd through March 22, 2022!

On view through March 16, 2022!

The exhibition continues at the  J. Howard McGrath Judicial Complex in Wakefield, RI as part of their Supreme Courts Art in the Courthouse exhibition series. The series was launched in 2002 with the goal of bringing original and vibrant art to the somber courthouse walls to create an environment that is warm and peaceful, to
uplift the spirit a little, and to brighten the atmosphere.

Cynthia is an interdisciplinary artist who exhibits her artwork nationally and internationally and creates digital art as well as watermedia paintings. She delights in the flow of paint and imagery in software as well as on paper Yupo, and terra skin. Her earliest art education began when she minored in art in college while majoring in English. She taught high school English for 30 years. During her teaching career she continued her study of art by taking courses in watercolor, sculpture and photography at local colleges eventually becoming certified to teach art education. She has won numerous awards both locally and nationally.

"A new tape work in the making. After laying down artist tape on Yupo and then painting over it, the tape is removed leaving spaces ready to paint. Details will be added using acrylic markers, ink and more painted tape. I’ll use the positive tape shapes I’ve removed in a companion piece on paper as well."

Do you like the art you see?

Great! As a group, we lease our art and sell our portfolios. We would be happy to talk with you about how we can provide high-quality art in your residential or corporate environment. Additionally, all our group activities complement and enhance the exhibiting, publishing, licensing and selling activities that we do as individual artists.

Are you interested in joining 19 on Paper?

Based on the group’s size and composition, we invite artists to be members. After an informal discussion about interests and expectations, those invited are asked to share a representative set of their paper-based work, a resume highlighting their artistic experience, and any other material that could assist with the group’s membership decision. Since we value exchange, collaboration, and continuity, consistent participation in our monthly meetings and group activities is an important membership commitment.
