Cynthia M. DiDonato
“Revolutionary art and visionary physics are both investigations into the nature of reality.”
— Leonard Shlain
Fascinated by the nature of reality, Cynthia creates artworks that seek to conjure visions of both seen landscapes and unseen mindscapes. Through her work, she challenges viewers to question their own perceptions of reality, inviting them to step through doors of perception opened by art.
She is a multidisciplinary artist working fluidly between digital and analog processes. Fascinated by the flow of paint and the movement of imagery within software, she experiments with diverse surfaces and materials using abstract experimental techniques, allowing intuition, chance, and discovery to guide the creative process.
Along wthi her membership in 19 on Paper, she is a Techspressionist Indexed Artist; an Elected Member of the Art League Rhode Island; a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society; a Nautilus Member of the International Experimental Artists Society; and a Juried Artist Member of the Wickford Art Association.
