Allie Sabalis
’ new work emerges from an experimentation with the intersection of personal photography, traditional painting, and evolving digital technologies designed for creative expression.
By blending original photographs and paintings and digitally manipulated forms, she transforms familiar subjects into evocative abstractions that explore the qualities of plants, still life arrangements, and the shifting interplay of light and shadow.
This process embraces both intuition and technology, allowing organic shapes, luminous contrasts, and fragmented details to dissolve into compositions that feel simultaneously natural and dreamlike.
Through this hybrid approach, Allie investigates how digital tools can extend the language of painting and photography, creating richly layered images that challenge perception while celebrating the subtle beauty found in everyday forms.

Do you like the art you see?
Great! As a group, we lease our art and sell our portfolios. We would be happy to talk with you about how we can provide high-quality art in your residential or corporate environment. Additionally, all our group activities complement and enhance the exhibiting, publishing, licensing and selling activities that we do as individual artists.
Are you interested in joining 19 on Paper?
Based on the group’s size and composition, we invite artists to be members. After an informal discussion about interests and expectations, those invited are asked to share a representative set of their paper-based work, a resume highlighting their artistic experience, and any other material that could assist with the group’s membership decision. Since we value exchange, collaboration, and continuity, consistent participation in our monthly meetings and group activities is an important membership commitment.
