As an artist I have always been fascinated by the richness of the human mind as it probes the secrets of nature. My work has been committed to the figure, to classical and cultural heritage as well as familiar and remembered landscapes. Mythological themes and biblical references are often incorporated in my image making.
I enjoy exploring new methods and materials to create meaning. My watercolors and monotypes speak to spontaneity while the woodcuts are labor intensive. A passion for drawing maintains my connection and dialogue with the visible world.
